Floyd Cleveland is originally from Chicago, IL, but has been a resident of Arizona for over 15 years. Floyd earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Master of Public Administration degree, and is a current doctoral candidate in Strategic Leadership. With over 25 years of law enforcement experience, Floyd recognized that there is an obvious lack of diversity in America's criminal justice system. Floyd has the desire to connect communities to criminal justice professionals with relatable life experiences, mindsets, and stories. Thus, Floyd founded the Organization for Recruitment of African Americans into Law Enforcement (ORAALE). ORAALE [O-RAY-LEE] intends to provide a platform that will attract African Americans seeking a career in criminal justice by mentoring vital principles such as leadership, accountability, ethics, and integrity. The expectation is to deliver highly sought-after, qualified individuals into the criminal justice career field.
